Tileworks - How it came about
Whenever I am in an old house, restaurant, church or other public space, my eye often goes to the floors and ceilings. When I like what I see, I snap a picture. One of those stored pictures came to mind when I saw Linework by Tula Pink. I knew this would be the perfect collection to represent the tile floor. As you may recall, Linework was available right at the height of Covid. This design has been a long time in the making - a perfect project to start in lockdown - and an even better project to finish at the beginning of a new year!
This is an English Paper Piecing design suited to those with some experience in the method. If you are up to a challenge, there are a few, but the pattern provides some tips to help you along with your own creation. As you discover this pattern, you will observe that each template is different in size. What fabrics will you feature with these unique fussy cut shapes?
