Diamond Point’s inception started with the plan to be queen size and to be created as a gift for our daughter and fiancé’s wedding in July 2020. As it turned out, there were multiple quilt sizes that became unique to their own within this design, so this ended up being the fourth and final in the Diamond Point grouping.
The original and Diamond Point Queen size quilt was made using all French General fabrics, as you can see on my website and Instagram postings. It is also slightly different than the pattern I now offer, so to keep it unique for our daughter and now son-in-law. A second quilt was made using the “Bon Voyage” collection by Tilda. This is the quilt featured in the pattern now available to download for your use. This quilt finishes at 79” square - a nice size to grace any queen size bed.
Like any design work, the path to the final “point” took many unexpected turns. And along this path, some beautiful things happened. I look forward to seeing your take on Diamond Point!
